POST No.1 :- Assistant Engineer Group III(3) (Electrical) - 1 Post (Unreserved)

Pay Band:- 15,600-39,100 plus Grade Pay  Rs.4600/- + usual allowances  as admissible  to Central Govt. employees stationed at Chandigarh (Total Emoluments: Rs. 34,000/- per month (approx.)

Essential Qualification:  B.E/B.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering  with 55% marks.

Desirable Qualification: -  2 years Experience in internal and external electrification of multi-storeyed commercial, residential, institutional buildings and large township etc.

Job Requirement:- The incumbent will be required to prepare schemes and estimates for internal electrification of housing and Multi-storeyed buildings, Sub-station equipment upto 11KV, Lifts, Fire Alarm and Fire fighting systems.  Looking after day to day maintenance jobs of Building and staff quarters. Preference will be given to those who have experience in maintenance of Buildings and Sub-stations.

The Role Continuing project growth has created this exceptional opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their UAE Team to supervise the design Communication, HV, LV and ELV for projects. Our client seeks proven performers with significant experience in the Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Construction and / or Telecommunications sectors.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Design Manager and working as part of the Professional Services Team, your responsibilities in the role will include:

• Manage the detailed design process for all electrical elements and for design changes during the execution phase, working in close collaboration with the design consultants.
• Manage the electrical detailed design process from commencement to delivery, management and supervision of design consultants, writing technical specifications, scope of works, RFP, ATP documents for: electrical infrastructure, CCTV and communications systems.
• Verification of detailed design packages ensuring compliance with International, UAE and Oil & Gas company standards as a minimum.
• Provide specialist support to internal clients.
• Provide electrical engineering design solutions for electrical design related problems.
• Implementation of new design requirements and design change requests from the projects
• Maintaining both internal and external client and supplier relationships.
• Proactive involvement in ongoing works and with any necessary design change in accordance with the project requirements.
• Maintaining quality control.
• Assistance in the management of cost and time control. Requirements
Requirements Essential attributes include:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, with membership of a recognized professional body; IET, IEEE etc.
• Minimum 10 years experience in electrical engineering design.
• Good working knowledge and experience in electrical design combined with a knowledge and appreciation of civil and mechanical elements.
• Experience with design review & design supervision on large scale projects
• Good knowledge and experience of pitish and UAE codes and norms
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Must have experience working in the Middle East and candidates already working in the GCC region preferred.
• Excellent English - verbal, reading and written capabilities
• Working experience in Oil and Gas fields will be highly regarded as will candidates with international consulting experience.
